THE PLOT:

Akira and Ryô were friends since childhood but when Ryô's father dug into hell itself, it awaken and released a horde of demons possessing people. Akira was posscessed but something happened, he was able to keep his human heart. His soul, with these new powers he's become DEVILMAN.

But in a world in fear of demons and a witch hunt of demons will results in a world war could be the end of everything.

ZEDD'S OPINION:

The creature effects is amazing and what I know about Devilman, they stay fateful to the anime which is always a good thing. But animes like this always shows the worst of humanity. Where was the people demanding that these people accused of being demons get a trial or devise a test or something. Not just lock them up just because they say so. That was just wrong, because of the character flaws. I must give it, 6 STARS.

VOLTRON'S OPINION:

I agree with ZEDD on this. All the hatred got in the way of the enjoyment of the film and this whole witch hunt of demons without any proof is just wrong and I can't imagine it going on in this day and age without someone standing against. I too give the movie 6 STARS.

ON THE POSTIVE SIDE (+ HITS):

+ FATEFUL (It stays fateful to the anime.)
+ STORY (The story works for the most part.)
+ CG (Almost perfect CG effects.)

ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):

- CG (That's right, the CG isn't perfect, sometimes they look like video game.)
- CHARACTER ISSUES (Too many fell into the witch hunt too quickly.)
