THE PLOT:

Let's take a visit to a vision of Japanese Hell, shall we? Two young girls get a chance to see what it would it be like to be in hell and while on this tour of Damnation they see the story of what happens to a man who escaped punisment from the court when he raped and murdered serveral little girls.

Then they're own story unfolds before their very eyes. The story of an insane cult in which the blind leader demands tribute from the women and plan mass murder in the belief that the world will be ending soon and they need to help it along.

ZEDD'S OPINION:

Okay, let's see? Where to begin, the demons in this movie is wicked cool, I didn't know this was a remake when I saw it on Netflix, but now that I do I want to see the original. The acting is cool, the subtitles are easy to read. The moral makes sense, no matter what, if you commit a horrible crime like murder then you will never escape punishment. A good moral to all would be killers out there. Now for the bad part, I think they didn't do enough in Hell. That's right I would have loved to have seen more of Hell and less of the cult. Even though the cult part was based on a real event that I remember too well, I think that could have been told in a whole movie by itself. But that's my only major complaint. The effects were incredible and if you like movies like "SAW" then you'll love taking a trip to Japanese HELL. 7 STARS.

VOLTRON'S OPINION:

I agree with Zedd, but as I said before, I do not like subtitles. It's hard enough sometimes to keep up with the action of a movie without having to read it as well. I prefer dubbed movies as long as it is a direct translation, they shouldn't be allowed to embelish on the translation. But as for the movie I give it 7 STARS as well.

ON THE POSTIVE SIDE (+ HITS):

+ STORY (The story basically works.)
+ MORAL (I love the moral of the story, there is no escape from punishment for a cold blooded murder. Either you get punished on Earth or in Hell.)
+ ACTING (The acting was well done.)
+ SUBITLES (The subtitles was easy to read.)\
+ CREATURES (Cool demons.)
+ CAST (The cast does a great job.)

ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):

- CULT (Even thought it really happened, we feel this movie spent too much time on the cult plot and not enough in Hell.)
- SUBTITLES (VOLTRON feels that subtitles are not fair to people who can't read fast and dubbing should be a direct translation, no changes.)

...AND FINALLY...

- FAN BASED (If you don't like watching bad people being tortured in Hell for the rest of time, then this isn't the movie for you.)
